Luhmann never forced himself to work on something he was stuck on

The benefit of having many dialogues occurring in the slip-box is that you are never confined to just one topic of interest. When one line of thought becomes dry, instead of frustratingly forcing yourself to keep digging for insights you can simply work on something else and wait for new insights to arise as you keep reading into your interests.
