UBI needs to be coupled with meaningful pursuits

Aside from monetary income to afford basic needs, man cannot be left without meaning in a post-work world. This experiment is being most successfully run in Israel, where approximately 50% of ultra-orthodox Jewish men do not work. Instead they rely on government support to meet their most fundamental needs, and busy themselves in temples with religious pursuits. These men rank among the world's highest for reported life contentment.
